Team PEA are an independent group of veteran game developers based in the UK and Norway.
With over 30 years combined game development experience working for the likes of Sony, EA, Mind Candy and Disney Interactive (to name but a few), Team PEA came together after a studio closure in late 2015. The 3-man team took a little time out from their day jobs allowing them to shed the restrictions of big commercial titles and focus on making fun games that they enjoyed playing.
Shortly after forming it became clear that with their love of driving games and years of experience in the genre, their first title was to be the local multiplayer racing game that they had always wanted to play themselves - and so Hotlap Heroes was born.Hotlap Heroes
Hotlap Heroes is a local multiplayer racing game that has players screaming, shouting and battling it out together - all under one roof, harking back to the "couch" multiplayer games of yesteryear. It’s fun and accessible to all players - from the hardcore right through to players who wouldn't consider themselves racing fans.
Hotlap Heroes was launched on Apple TV and supports up to 8 players locally, players can dynamically drop in and out of gameplay using the Siri Remote, a controller or their own personal iOS/Android device running the downloadable Hotlap Heroes: Controller app.
Featured globally on the Apple TV App Store for its launch week, this is just the beginning for Hotlap Heroes. The team are looking to add new tracks, cars and game modes. After listening to their growing community of fans Team PEA are now planning on bringing Hotlap Heroes to more platforms.
